Primary Care – Prescribing

An elearning programme aiming to improve therapeutics knowledge among primary care staff. The programme consists of modules covering a range of therapeutic topics relating to prescribing and medicines safety.

The principles which inform good prescribing and details of the more common reasons for prescribing errors.

Elearning modules for healthcare professionals on minimising the risks of using medicines and information on how to access medical device modules.

A series of four modules to aid the education of Community Pharmacy by hospital-based pre-registration pharmacists, to supplement Community Pharmacy practice-based learning: looking at the Community Pharmacy contract, services provided, and provision of unscheduled care to the public together with learning focusing on the role of the GP Pharmacist.

Training for pharmacy professionals working in primary care as part of the primary care Network Contract Directed Enhanced Service (DES).
