Our support offer to public libraries includes:
- Self-serve online training on the NHS account, app and website that can be accessed at any time on the training resources for libraries webpage
- Online NHS App drop-in live sessions to help library staff with any questions.
- Online knowledge exchange sessions to share what is working well and collaborate on solving any issues.
- Dedicated webpages with support resources for the public and training resources for libraries that include where to locate trusted health information; walk through videos on how to use the NHS browser and app, for use with service users.
- Library communication and social media toolkit, that includes posters, screen savers, book dividers; social media assets and tools to promote the offer in local libraries and communities.
- Evaluation tools to support libraries demonstrate support offered and capture case studies, where they wish to do so.
- Recommendation for libraries to consider signing up to The Good Things Foundation offer of free data packs that can be given to service users.
We are in the process of reviewing and updating these resources. These will be updated by the middle of September, and then once the NHS App has been refreshed this autumn we will update the resources again in line with its new look and feel.
